Au Pairs met at Bowlero for the January 2018 meeting. My group of au pairs from Parker and Castle Rock met with the Centennial group of au pairs. We enjoyed a game of bowling and ended the evening with a free set of laser tag.
Super fun au pair meeting. Chris at Z Ultimate Self Defense Studio generously offered to teach my group of au pairs personal safety techniques and skills. The event cost $5 which he gave back to Kids First Foundation. Check out #Aupairheart to see the video of our evening.

Thank you to au pair and Cultural Care Ambassador, Heena who organized our September au pair meeting with Salwa Owens, FIERCE dance instructor who taught the girls some FIERCE dance moves. Super fun and successful event.
We met at Butterfield Park despite the rain to eat ice cream, play games, and decorate Frisbee that the kids took home. Each kid decorated their Frisbee with their au pairs home country flag.
Au Pairs enjoy the Colorado Rockies game. For many this was their first baseball game to attend.

Castle Rock au pairs meet at Kneaders for our monthly get together to chat, drink some coffee and hang out. It was a fun evening getting to know each other and spending time together.
Thank you to the families and au pairs who were able to join us for the fire safety event on April 23rd. I hope everyone found the information to be a good reminder and refresher on best practices to avoid, prevent or to escape a fire.
The March hockey game was on a Saturday evening at 5:00 pm. The Colorado Avalanche played against the Ottawa Senators who won. The final score was 4-2, moving the Senators into a tie for first place in the Atlantic Division.
Thank you Tracy Schully for helping us create bracelets. Tracy designs her own jewelry and teaches classes at Michael’s craft store in Castle Rock. All of the au pairs were so sweet to make bracelets for their host children and one for themselves!
