JENNIFER MORROW, CHILDCARE CONSULTANT, HOST FAMILY & AU PAIR NEWSLETTER
What’s not to love about Fall? Kicking off the season with the annual drive to the mountains to view the brilliant yellow, orange, and red leaves, cooler temperatures, harvest festivals, and my favorite holiday Thanksgiving. This year my 10-year old daughter and I will be planning and cooking the main dishes together, and I am excited to be sharing this with her. I find the beginning of November is a time to stop, reset, slow down and reflect and be thankful for where we are, what we have and who we have in our lives. I love this idea of a thankful pumpkin! And my kids do too! We have already begun writing down the obvious, our animals, our family, friends, but as the month goes on, it’ll be the little things that we will begin to take notice of that we tend to miss when we’re not intentional or too busy to notice.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and as always, thank you for embracing this rewarding program of cultural exchange and childcare.
